N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  The Cardinals of Carrington have advanced to the State Class B High School Baseball Tourney four out of the last five years and are going for their third consecutive Region 3 Championship when the tourney starts in Carrington on Monday, May 22nd and runs through Wednesday, May 24th.  The winner will advance to the State Tournament held in Jamestown, June 1st – 3rd, 2017.  Carrington (7-1, 13-5) received the number one seed and will play the last game on Monday at 5pm.  Here is the complete first day schedule:

12pm – No. 4 Sheyenne/ New Rockford vs. Medina/Pingree/Buchanan

230pm – No. 2 Midkota/Dakota Priarie vs. No. 3 Kidder County

5pm – No. 1 Carrington vs. Winner of first game, SNR or MPB

AM 1600 KDAK and newsdakota.com will broadcast all the games starting about 11:45am pregame all three days.
