CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A Valley City police officer found several children wearing their helmet while riding their bikes recently in Valley City.

Children across the state will be rewarded with a free Dairy Queen treat when spotted wearing a helmet while riding a bike, skateboard, scooter or wearing inline skates.

More of these fun citations will be coming to children who decide to wear a helmet this spring and summer across North Dakota.
