Coach’s Comments
After many matches without a full line-up, we finally had everyone back! Whoo hoo!
The doubles started slow, but our players kept fighting and each pulled out very tight first sets. They got in a rhythm and finished off the match. Reagan and Cali beat a team that knocked them off at the West Fargo invite.
We worked the mental side of tennis and it paid dividends in the singles game. We played loose and kept our minds focused on the moment. Angela Larson had a huge turn around and found her game. She had the most dominant performance of the day dropping just one game.
Joking with the Fargo South coach, he made the comment that it would be easier to not like my team after the 9-0 loss, but our girls are just too nice. I thanked him for the compliment. Thanks to all of our players that exhibit fantastic sportsmanship at all times – it does not go unnoticed.
