N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Great Plains Food Bank Mobile Pantry was in Jamestown Friday, April 28th and served over 600 people.

According to the Great Plains Food Bank, 632 people in 256 households in the Jamestown area benefited from the food distribution event. 366 were adults and 266 were children according to forms filled out by the recipients.

Around 13,700 pounds of fruits, vegetables and other items were given out during the two-hour event.

More stops have been planned around the state including Grand Forks and Valley City. The Food Bank hopes to hold more of these in the future.
