CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- Sunday Valley City will serve as the host of The 2017 North Dakota District III Spring Games. More than 300 athletes from Valley City, Fargo, Wahpeton, Jamestown and surrounding communities will take part in a full day of competition starting at 8am. Events include unified volleyball, bocce, power lifting, swimming and track and field and will take place at The Gaukler Family Wellness Center, The VCSU Fieldhouse and Lokken Stadium. SOND Area Director Cindy Schopper says there is a lot of excitement surrounding the district games  

 The District III Games are put together by a group of volunteers with contributions from sponsors. There is still plenty of opportunities to help out this weekend
