N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Freedom Resource Center will be holding their 6th Annual Appreciation Luncheon on May 9th in Fargo.

The event honors the volunteers, advocates for disability rights and employers who support employing people with disabilities. Beth Dewald is an Independent Living Advocate for the organization.

Dewald reports that several individuals in the region will be recognized for their services in Fargo. Laurel Haroldson will be receiving the Volunteer award.

Laurel Haroldson has assisted Dewald with several events and has continued to volunteer her time to the organization. Dewald also reports that Nancy Kunz and the James River Senior Center will also be honored with the Distinguished award.

The event will be in Fargo at the Delta by Mariott on May 9th. Tickets are $20 and are available by calling 800-450-0459.
