N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Jamestown Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors and Young Professionals of Jamestown presented the April Customer Service Award to Tim Radtke of Subway in Jamestown.

Radtke works at the store located at 909 7th Avenue SE. He was nominated after a customer submitted his name in to receive recognition for his services. The Customer Service award is given to individuals who demonstrate a consistent commitment to delivering products or services that satisfy customers.

Below is the nomination letter received by the customer.

“I have been a customer at this Subway at “peak” lunch and supper times in which the line of customers is wrapped around from the register to the door. Tim takes charge leading the other employees and making sure the line moves as quickly and efficiently as possible all the while making sure the orders are handled correctly. He never forgets to say “Welcome to Subway” when he hears the door open and another customer walks in and he always asks if the sandwich looks OK as he puts on the finishing veggies and/or dressings. This past Sunday as I was one of the last ones of the “rush,” I told him he sure does a great job and asked his name. He told me that he came in to eat his lunch before his shift was supposed to start at 1:30 pm but when they got busy, he just put his own food aside, jumped in and started helping – this was 1 1/2 hours before his shift was supposed to start!“

Tim, along with other 2017 recipients of the award, will be recognized at the Chamber’s annual banquet in January 2018. Nominations can be found at www.jamestownchamber.com or by calling 701-252-4830.
