N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – North Dakota’s paddlefish snagging season is set to begin Monday, May 1st.

Paddlefish snagging has become somewhat of a big season for some in the state and others in the area.

Game & Fish Biologist Doug Leier reports that depending on overall harvest, an early in-season closure may occur within a 24 hour notice.

Full details on paddlefish snagging can be found at gf.nd.gov. Leier also made mention of the Summer Outdoors Woman program.

All this and more can be found on the Game & Fish Department’s website. Catch Doug Leier every Thursday at 7:20 AM on JD in the Morning on Big Dog 95.5 FM.
