(PlayNorthStar.com)- Valley City State University senior Andrew Frank has been named the North Star Athletic Association Baseball Pitcher of the Week.  The Vikings are in the middle of hot streak winning 9 in a row with a 16-2 mark in the month of April. They currently sit at 24-20 and 17-3 in The NSAA placing them second.

Andrew Frank – Valley City State (N.D.) – 6’1″ – Senior – Pitcher – Romoland, Calif. – Frank pitched a complete game shutout on Saturday as Valley City State (N.D.) defeated Dakota State (S.D.) 3-0 in a 7-inning game.  He allowed just four hits, did not issue a walk and struck out eight batters.  Frank only needed 79 pitches to complete the game and has now won his last four starts.  He has a 4-1 record with a 2.48 earned run average in conference play.
