Mae Bohn, 98, of Medina, North Dakota, died on Wednesday, April 19, 2017 at Bethany on 42nd Street in Fargo, North Dakota.

Marie Mae Andres was born on April 30, 1918 in Medina, North Dakota. She was the seventh child of ten children born to Albert Julius Carl and Theresa Augusta (Hartzfeldt) Andres.

She attended the local country school one mile from her home. After completing the 8th grade, she was expected to stay home and help with the home duties.

She married Leo Bohn on November 10, 1941 in Windsor, North Dakota. They had twin daughters, Jeanette and Janice.

She cooked and baked in various cafes and at the Medina school. Her family loved her caramel rolls, donuts, and pies. Marie enjoyed reading, doing word puzzles, playing cards and Bonko. She also enjoyed playing solitaire and casino on her computer.

Marie sold her home in Medina in 2012. Then she lived with her daughters until 2015 when she moved into Bethany on 42nd Street in Fargo.

She is survived by her daughters, Jeanette (Al) Lien of Fargo and Janice (Marvin) Baarstad of Williston, ND; 5 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; 6 great-great-grandchildren; and Pepi. Marie is also survived by her sisters, Anita Schmidt of Medina and Inez Job of Jamestown.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, sister, and 6 brothers.

The family expresses its sincere gratitude to the caregivers working in Cottage Oaks at Bethany on 42nd, especially Gail, Alice, Noah, and Jennifer W. Your concern, support, and tender care made all the difference in the last 22 months at Bethany.

Mass of Christian Burial: 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 24, 2017 at St. James Basilica, Jamestown.

Visitation: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Rosary: 6:30 p.m., Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Vigil: 7:00 p.m., Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Williams Funeral Home, Jamestown.

Interment: Medina Cemetery, Medina, ND.
