N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Spring Turkey season opened April 8th to slightly lower numbers than expected.

Game & Fish Biologist Doug Leier reports that Spring Turkey hunting was down on opening weekend.

Leier says that while hunters are out looking for their spring turkey, they should also be on the lookout for winter kill.
