N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Carrington City Council met earlier this week and discussed several items.

Carrington Mayor Neil Fandrich talked with Greg Grenz on KDAK AM 1600 about the city audit for 2016. Mayor Fandrich stated that all budgeted items were discussed.

According to the report, the city needed to pull some more money for needed snow removal in December following the large snow storm.

Mayor Fandrich later talked about the recent Carrington Fire Department and American Red Cross Association team-up to bring free smoke alarms to area residents.

Mayor Fandrich also talked about construction at the schools, the Carrington Fire Department’s report, and waste management contract renewal.
