ROCKFORD, N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  The Sheyenne/New Rockford Varsity Baseball team was in action yesterday against Larimore, despite some hot bats, SNR fell 10-8.  Teddy Allmaras took the loss, Jacob Tupa was the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts.  

At the plate for the Blacksox, Luke Ystaas was 3-for-4, Seth Soderholm was 3-for-3, Cole Myhre had three hits including a double and Josh McKnight had two hits as well.

The Blacksox kicked off their season in Steele earlier this week and were shutout by Kidder County 10-0.

Next for SNR will be tomorrow, Saturday April 15th in New Rockford against Max-Garrison, starts at 1pm.
