S.D. (PlayNorthStar.com)- Valley City State sophomore Jared Lentz has been selected as the North Star Athletic Association Men’s Golfer of the Week, the conference office announced Tuesday afternoon.

NSAA Men’s Golfer of the Week
Jared Lentz – Valley City State (N.D.) – Sophomore – Valley City, N.D. – Valley City State’s (N.D.) Lentz mastered the long and majestic Bully Pulpit Golf Course last weekend as he shot a 36-hole score of 3-over par to win the Dickinson State Invitational.  His two-round total of 147 was four shots better than second-place and eight shots better than third-place as he led from start to finish.  Lentz battled through windy conditions in the first round to shot a 3-over 75, and then closed with the tournament’s best round; an even-par 72 in the second round.  It was the second career win for Lentz.
