N.D. (NewsDakota.com)- The Falcons Baseball Team was able to get two road wins in their first meeting of the season with LaMoure/Litchville-Marion. Chance Bye led Enderlin/Maple Valley with 3 hits in a 4-1 opening game victory. Teams combined for 14 runs in the 5 inning game with The Falcons edging The Loboes 8-6. LLM plays again Thursday at Kindred, EMV also plays The Vikings in their next game on Tuesday. 

 

Game 1 EMV 4  LLM1

Peter Lindgren earned the win for Enderlin/Maple Valley Falcons . He pitched five innings, surrendering one run, three hits, and striking out 11. Nathan Amerman recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Enderlin Enderlin/Maple Valley Falcons Varsity. Jacob Ulmev took the loss for LaMoure/Litchville-Marion. He tossed seven innings, surrendering four runs, six hits, and striking out five.

Chance Bye was 3 for 4. Both Bye and Lindgren each drove in one run to lead EMV. Ulmev went 1-for-2 at the plate as he led the team with one run batted in. 

Game 2 EMV 8  LLM 6 (5 innings)

Despite seeing its six run lead whittled down by the end, Enderlin/Maple Valley  still held off LaMoure/Litchville-Marion for an 8-6 victory . The Loboes scored five runs in the failed comeback on a walk by Alex Klever, a double by Wyatt Parenteau, and a double by Jacob Ulmev.

Jade Pulkrabek earned the win for EMV. He pitched two innings, giving up no runs, no hits and striking out three. Adam Hamberman took the loss for LaMoure/Litchville-Marion.

EMV collected eight hits. Grady Karges, Jacob Johnson, and Garett Finger each had 2 hits. Sean Bielke and Karges each drove in two runs.
