N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – No injuries were reported after a semi overturned on Highway 281 near the Truck Bypass north of Jamestown Monday afternoon.
Reports from the North Dakota Highway Patrol say the truck was pulling a trailer with a commercial lift when it began turning onto Highway 52. The load shifted, causing the semi to overturn. The driver and passenger were uninjured.
Crews took around 3 hours to get the load upright and pull it off to the side of the road. The lift was then set on another truck. Wind was not likely a factor in the incident. According to witness statements, the lift was top heavy and the load shifted when the trailer wheels left the road while executing the turn.
The truck belonged to Agri-Systems Inc. of Litchfeild, MN.
