, N.D (NewsDakota.com)- Enderlin Maple Valley Softball plays at home for the first time this year Thursday with May-Port CG coming to town for an East Region match up. The Falcons started their season 1-1 after splitting with Fargo South Monday. The game weren’t just the first of the year for the team but were also the first for new head coach Kayl Hamre. For the last 2 seasons Hamre has headed the girls’ varsity basketball team, that experience led him to taking over the softball program

 

EMV lost the first game Monday in the 7th inning 11-10 while winning the second game 8-2. The Falcons combined to produce 18 hits while driving in 18 runs. Allison Bartholomay was 5 for 8 on the afternoon. Coach Hamre was satisfied with his team’s start to the season

Thursday’s game will be the first for May-Port CG. First pitch is scheduled for 4:30 in Enderlin.
