N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – “The Kid Experience” program was created in 2015 so youth in the community can participate.

Anna Pierce, founder of “The Kid Experience”, says the program helps allow children to participate in positive activities in the community.

Pierce says for example, if a child cannot afford a pool pass, the program will help with the cost for that child. She says experiences like this help a child further in their life.

In 2016, 19 Carrington youth participated in the program. Pierce reports that 11 sponsors made it possible for “The Kid Experience” program to help them. To determine how to help applicants, Pierce pointed out that the group reviews applications to find the best way to anonymously help that individual.
