N.D. (KFGO) – Custom-designed coins to help with travel and hotel costs for the family and friends of a Fargo police officer shot and killed last Feb. are selling well.
About 70 people will attend a ceremony in Washington, DC in May where the name of Jason Moszer will be added to the National Peace Officer’s Memorial.
Dep. Police Chief Todd Osmundson says about 1,700 of the coins have been sold in the past few days. An estimated 300 remain.
Osmundson says because of the high demand, the coins are now only available at the main police station downtown and the substation in the Fargo-Cass Public Health building on 25th St. S. They cost $15.00.
