N.D. (KFGO) – The North Dakota Highway Patrol is reminding drivers to slow down and move over when they see flashing lights after a trooper’s squad got hit early Wednesday morning.
The highway patrol says a trooper was providing traffic control at a crash on I-94 in western North Dakota when a driver failed to maintain control and rear-ended the squad car.
The SUV hit the patrol car at an approximate speed of 50-60 miles per hour.
The trooper was seat-belted in the vehicle at the time and was later transported to Dickinson for minor injuries.
