N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Two teens from West Fargo were injured after striking a support pole for an exit sign on I-94 west of Jamestown Friday evening.

The two 15 year-old juveniles were traveling east on I-94 from Bismarck to Fargo when the vehicle left the roadway and entered the south ditch. The driver overcorrected the car and struck a support pole for an exit sign. Both the driver and passenger were transported to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center; the driver was later lifeflighted to Sanford in Fargo.

Sgt. Hendrickson with the North Dakota Highway Patrol believes distracted driving could be a contributing factor in the crash. The incident remains under investigation.
