N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown’s largest fundraiser is set for April 22nd on campus.

The fundraiser has raised millions of dollars for scholarships given to incoming students. Karen Crane is a Planning Committee member for the 31st annual fundraiser.

Crane reports that last year, over $140,000 were raised from the fundraising event, the most in the 31 year history. Money is raised through silent and live auctions, as well as the $75 ticket price. All of the funds are then given to student scholarships.

Crane pointed out that community involvement and support has played a vital role in the fundraiser.

This year, Warren Abrahamson and Casey Stoudt will be co-Masters of Ceremony. Auctioneer services will be provided by More from Orr Auctioneers. Over 200 students are expected to be involved with the night as well.
