N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A semi hauling an empty trailer blew off the road and rolled on Highway 1 south of Sanbord on March 7th around 3pm.

Valley City Fire & Rescue Fire Chief Gary Retterath said the driver did not suffer a life threatening injury in the crash.

Authorities believe a strong wind gust caused the semi to roll off the road. The Highway Patrol, Barnes County Sheriff’s Deputies and Valley City Fire & Rescue Squad responded to the rollover.
