CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) Valley City State University’s Health Services, with the support of Essentia Health and Sanford Health, will sponsor the VCSU Wellness Fair on Wednesday, March 1, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Student Center on campus.

The Wellness Fair will take place in the Student Center hallway, upper-level lounge and Skoal Room and the public is welcome to attend.

The Health Fair offers fitness testing, blood pressure monitoring, free samples and door prizes. The Wellness Fair is free and open to the public.

According to Pat Egeberg, VCSU director of health services and wellness coordinator, the aim of the Wellness Fair is to motivate participants to make positive health behavior changes and increase awareness of local health services and resources.

Open to members of the Valley City State and greater Valley City communities free of charge, the Wellness Fair offers literature and free samples, fitness testing, blood pressure monitoring and door prizes. In addition, body composition analysis using the InBody 270 analyzer, a $20 value, will also be available at a cost of $5.
