FARGO, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The Valley City High School Speech team traveled to the West Fargo Sheyenne Speech Meet on February 25th.
Student Advisor Nicholas Lee said, with a young team and several veterans absent for the tournament, we still managed to place 2nd out of the 10 teams. Individual results were as follows:
Speech to Entertain: Rachel Borg- 6th
Radio Broadcasting: Eliza Johnson- 5th
Serious Prose: Monisha Terry- 5th, Abby Slyter- 3rd
Dramatic Interpretation: Talia Germann- 7th, Tanaya Leifson- 6th, Monesha Terry- 5th, Maggie Oberlander- 1st and State Qualified
