N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown music department will be presenting a concert of new and recently composed music tonight at 7:30 PM.

The concert will feature several faculty, students and ensembles playing and performing music that has been composed within the last 100 years. Dr. Richard Walentine is the chair of the Music Department.

Dr. Walentine says the music being performed with be different than the traditional music typically performed by ensembles.

Original compositions and arrangements will be performed by faculty and students like during the free event. The concert will be held at the DeNault Auditorium in the Reiland Fine Arts Center.
