SD (PlayNorthStar.com)- Alli Vandal of Valley City State (N.D.) was selected to the fifteenth edition of the North Star Athletic Association (NSAA) Women’s Basketball Player-of-the-Week honor, announced by the conference office Monday.

Alli Vandal – Valley City State (N.D.) – 6’0″ – Sophomore – Forward – Rolla, N.D. – Vandal shot 77 percent and scoring a career-high 25 points in 24 minutes as Valley City State ended No. 11-ranked Jamestown 31-game winning streak in NSAA conference regular-season play with a 75-70 overtime victory. She scored five of VCSU’s 12 points in overtime, including a crucial basket with 37 seconds left in the game that gave Vikings a four-point lead. She also had 15 points in nearly 20 minutes as Valley City State defeated Presentation 89-68. For the week, Vandal averaged 20.0 points and 3.5 rebounds per game. She was 15-of-21 from the field (71.4 percent), 2-of-3 from the 3-point line and converted 8-of-10 free-throws.
