N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The new Two Rivers Activity Center is still in Phase I construction, but members are focusing on raising funds for Phase II.

Facilities Manager Amy Walters reports that construction of the facility is moving along nicely. Roughly 70 crew members have been onsite and putting the finishing touches inside the building.

A live webcam has been installed inside the building so interested individuals can watch the progress inside the pool area. Phase I is expected to be finished by September this year, but Phase II will be completed once funds are raised.

Walters pointed out that they’ve set three milestones for the $12 million phase.

Because the outdoor pool owned by Parks & Rec is expected to close in August, TRAC has made an outdoor pool their first priority of Phase II.

Construction on the first milestone of Phase II will commence once the first $4 million is raised.

They have also started up their new website tracjamestown.com. Walters says employment opportunities, frequently asked questions, new information and their webcam will all be available now at that web address.
