CITY (NewsDakota.com)- For the 4th year in a row The Valley City High School Gymnastics Team is The EDC Champion. Hosting this year’s conference championships, The Hi-Liners swept all events to get a combined score of 146.42. Runner up Grand Forks had a 136.12 while 3rd place finisher Davies scored 134.65. Taylor Johnson was the individual All Around champion. She won beam, vault and bars. Johnson was named EDC Outstanding Senior Athlete. Michaela Thibert won The EDC Floor Championship. Johnson, Thibert, Hanna Sorensen, Jocey Kriewald and Grace Anderson were all EDC Selections. Suzanna Fisher was selected as The EDC Coach of the year. State Gymnastics begins Friday in Dickinson.
