N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Residents aren’t required to remove their ice houses from state waters until March 15th, but Game & Fish says you might want to check on them now.
Game & Fish Biologist Doug Leier reminded residents that March 15th is the cutoff for permanent ice houses to be off of the ice. He pointed out that with the warm temperatures across the state, it might be smart to check on houses if you haven’t done so this week.
Leier says that doesn’t mean residents need to immediately retrieve their ice houses now.
