FALLS, S.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown basketball teams have three conference games remaining and all three are on the road. The final stretch begins on Saturday with a trip to Bellevue. Tip-off of the womens game is scheduled for 3pm, with the men to follow.

The Jimmie women have rolled off 34 straight NSAA wins dating back to February 7th, 2015. However, they are just one game ahead of No. 21 Dickinson State in the conference standings. If Jamestown can take care of business Saturday against Bellevue, they will travel to Scott Gym next Friday night with a chance to clinch their fourth consecutive regular season conference title.

The Jimmie men have won four straight conference games since a road loss at Dakota State on January 20th. They lost a one-point decision to Bellevue at the Jamestown Civic Center after the Bruins rallied from 13 down in the final 3:30.

Jamestown is all but guaranteed at least one home game in the NSAA quarterfinals, but if they can close the season with three wins they put themselves in prime position to make sure the road to the title comes through the Civic.

You can listen to Saturday’s games on ESPN Jamestown with the Dairy Queen pregame show beginning at 2:45pm.
