CITY, N.D. (NewsDakota.com) More than ,200 dollars has been raised so far, during the annual Giving Hearts Day for the CHI Mercy Health Foundation.
CHI Mercy Health Foundation spokeswoman Stephanie Mayfield said $10,000 was raised for the CHI Mercy Health event. She said the foundation can now move forward to purchase a new EKG machine and we are really close to ordering the Pulmonary Function Test Machine as well thanks to all these generous donations.
Mayfield said for the CHI Home Health & Hospice $18,522 was raised. She said we are still counting the cash donations from “Freezin’ for a Reason” event held in the Leevers Foods parking lot on Thursday, February 9th.
More than $12,00 dollars was raised for the Valley City State University Foundation during Giving Hearts Day on February 9th.
VCSU Assistant Director of Annual Giving Jeremy Wiebe said the VCSU Foundation was able to raise $12,231.50 during Giving Hearts Day.
He said a big thank you to everyone who donated during this amazing day of giving and especially to Ludvigson, Braun & Co. – Matt Pedersen for providing our $5,000 matching gift.
