N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Over 360 charities and non-profits received a total of 50,908 donations on February 9th.

The Dakota Medical Foundation reports that roughly $10,614,115 were raised, surpassing last years $8.3 million. Numbers are still being tallied and an official release will be distributed once data is verified.

The top three largest fundraisers were YMCA Cass Clay with $586,000, Oak Grove with $382,000, and Anne Carlsen Center & TNT Kid’s Fitness and Gymnastics, both with $278,00.

The Jamestown Regional Medical Center reported that they raised $57,154 over the day. Other Jamestown non-profits have yet to announce their totals.

Giving Hearts Day has now raised over $41 million for charities in North Dakota and Northwest Minnesota.
