N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Giving Hearts Day is more than halfway done and many Jamestown non-profits have received an outpouring of support.

Several area non-profits are participating in the record breaking all-day donation event. The Anne Carlsen Center has seen an amazing turnout so far. Chief Development Officer Patrick Kirby. 

Associate Development Director Felicia Sargent reported that as of 12:00 PM, they had received over $110,000 in donations, over half of what the organizations goal was.

The Arts Center is also participating in the event. Executive Director Cyndi Wish says they’ve reached their goal as of 11:30 AM.

At the time of this article, Giving Hearts Day has raised over $5.1 million for over 360 different charities in North Dakota.
