N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The City of Jamestown discussed a decrease in the contract price for the ongoing Water Tower Rehabilitation Project.

In June 2016, the city approved engineering services to the 1.5MG (Million gallon) Elevated Water Tower Rehabilitation. The painting of the interior and exterior water tower East of Jamestown was bid at $487,000. Travis Dillman with Interstate Engineering reported that there was a net decrease of $22,000 in the contract price.

The change order was approved unanimously. The project will continue to be paid with funds from the State Revolving Loan fund and will use proceeds from the water utility in Jamestown.
