ROCKFORD, N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  The 2017 version of the District 7 Girls Class B Basketball Tournament kicks off Friday, February 10th and continues the 11th and 13th at New Rockford/Sheyenne High School.  Seven teams will compete for the top four spots who will then advance to the Region 4 Tourney in Devils Lake starting February 20th.  The Lakota/Edmore Raiders won the district tourney last year.  Warwick is the number one seed this year and will receive a first round bye on Friday, here is Friday’s schedule:

4pm  – No. 4 New Rockford/Sheyenne vs. No. 5 Four Winds/Minnewaukan

530pm – No. 2 Harvey/Wells County vs. No. 7 Lakota

7pm – No. 3 Benson County vs. No. 6 Dakota Prairie

All of the New Rockford/Sheyenne, Harvey/Wells County and Dakota Prairie games will be broadcast on the Raven 103.1 FM and newsdakota.com, starting about 15 minutes before the scheduled start time with the pregame report.
