(NewsDakota.com) – The sixth graders at St. John’s Elementary school in Jamestown played in a hotly-contested basketball game to put the finishing touches on Catholic Schools Week.

The red team coached by Mr. Gange narrowly defeated the white team that was lead by Ms. Dale, 40-34. All the other students were in attendance and then some of the younger kids participated in a game of lighting.

The sixth graders also honored someone from the community that has had an impact on their life before game. Most were in attendance.
