N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Recently, an update was given to the City Public Works committee regarding the road from Menards to the Jamestown Regional Medical Center.

The latest report is that road construction will cost around $3.4 million. During the January 26th meeting, Interstate Engineering Engineer Steve Aldinger reported that negotiations and annexations were moving forward and going well.

Aldinger reported that the road would be three lanes with a turning lane included. He says they will be installing curb and gutter on once side and if there were to be future development in the area, they would consider adding to the other side in the future.

The project could be before the council in March for approval and estimated completion time would be by Fall 2017.
