N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Jamestown split their doubleheader with Bismarck High on Tuesday night at Jerry Meyer Arena. The girls got 33 points from Megan Gaffaney and picked up a 74-64 win. The Blue Jay boys fought with Bismarck, but came up short, 70-55.

Jamestown raced out to a 24-6 lead thanks to a 20-2 run. Megan Gaffaney scored 14 of her game-high 33 in the first half. The Jays built a 25-point lead early in the second half, but the Demons made a run closing to as close as six points. Coral Gillette finished with 25 for Bismarck, including seven triples.
