N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – Less than a year after moving and opening up in their new space in the Buffalo Mall, the AAUW Bookstore has announced that they will be closing up.

Kelly Krein is with the Jamestown Branch of AAUW and is the AAUW Bookstore Coordinator. She reports in a release that they will be leaving after nearly 10 years and three different locations.

“We really appreciate the Mall ownership for providing us with a space all these years,” said Krein, AAUW Bookstore Coordinator. We regret that there is no longer a spot for us and our future is uncertain.”

The space will be cleared out by February 28th to make room for the Dunham’s inside the mall. Krein points out that following that, the store will be able to relocate in a space across the hall as a transitional site for the remaining inventory. The AAUW leadership is seeking suggestions and ideas that could keep the store open elsewhere.

Books are currently on reduction and hours have been increased form 11 AM to 2 PM every Thursday and Saturday. For more information, contact Kelly Krein at 701-252-4690 or e-mail kkrein@lloydsmotors.com.
