N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A woman was not injured after calling the fire department when her vehicle started on fire Monday afternoon.

The Jamestown Fire Department was called at 4:47 PM after the woman saw flames coming from under the dash of the 1992 Dodge Dakota pickup. The woman pulled over onto the Jamestown viaduct and immediately called 911. When crews arrived, the vehicle was completely engulfed in flames. Crews used foam to tamper the blaze.

The vehicle was a total loss and the cause is undetermined. Five city units were on scene and 30 fire fighters responded.
