memorial service for Etta Marie Fossen, 60, Twin Valley, Minnesota, formerly of Valley City, North Dakota will be 2 pm Monday, January 23, 2017 at the Oliver-Nathan Funeral Chapel, Valley City.  Burial will be in the spring in High Prairie Cemetery, rural LaMoure, North Dakota.  She died Tuesday, January, 17, 2017 at Essentia Health, Fargo, North Dakota.

Etta Marie Aune was born April 25, 1956 at LaMoure, North Dakota, the daughter of Henrietta Mae Aune.  She attended school in LaMoure and graduated in 1975.  She worked in Minot for a year before moving to Valley City.  Marie worked at the Hill Top Café until she began working at Mercy Hospital.  She worked as a dietary aide there for 35 years before retiring in June of 2009.  She married LeRoy Twidt in 1994.  Marie moved to Gary, Minnesota in 2012 and she entered the Twin Valley Living Center in August of 2016.

She is survived by her daughter, Tiffany Fossen, Valley City; a sister, Leona Bushman, Ada, MN; a brother, Kris Aune, Fargo, ND; a sister-in-law, Diana Mahler, Gary, MN; four nieces, Anita Bushman, Eureka, MT; Arlene Bushman and her children, Connor Moravel and Corbin Skoy; Allison Bushman and her child, Alexander Gosser, all of Fargo; and Amy (Charlie) Schoen and her children, Austin, Nathan, Maryjayne, Jaxon, and Dallas, all of Gary, MN.

Marie was preceded in death by her mother.
