(NewsDakota.com) – Carrington baseball has one of the top teams in the state over the last three years, winning three straight Class B Legion titles, and Braxton Hewitt has been a big reason why.

The right-handed pitcher went 12-3 combined on the mound last season between high school and legion. He hit .371 with four homers and 64 RBIs.

Hewitt has signed to continue his baseball career with the University of Jamestown.
