Wrestler of the Week is David Peterson.

Wrestler of the week ending January 1st, 2017 is Sophomore David Peterson.  David competes at 152lbs for the Hi-Liners and recently moved into The Class A wrestling ND Headlock poll as a Honorable mention at 152lbs.  David had a breakout tournament at the 2016 Rumble on the Red wrestling tournament held at the Fargo-dome Dec. 29th and 30th. David placed 4th in the Junior Varsity division. David had 54 wrestlers in his bracket.  David wrestled seven matches winning five of them.  David comes to practice each day with a great attitude and always puts forth maximum effort.  David’s season record currently sits at 17wins and 10 losses.  David also excels in the classroom as he is a member of the Valley City “A” honor roll. David was an Academic all-state wrestler last year and also competes in Football for the Hi-Liners.
