N.D.  (NewsDakota.com)  The 2016-17 version of the Boys Stutsman County Invitational Basketball Tourney will start Thursday, December 5th at the Jamestown Civic Center and continue through Saturday with four games every day.  The Cardinals of Ellendale are the defending champions as they beat Edgeley/Kulm/Montpelier in the championship game last year.  Here is the first day schedule:

#1 DISTRICT 5 ELLENDALE VS. #4 DISTRICT 6 MEDINA/P/B (3PM)

#2 DISTRICT 6 NAPOLEON/G/S VS. #3 DISTRICT 5 EDGELEY/K/M (4:30)

#1 DISTRICT 6 KIDDER COUNTY VS. #4 DISTRICT 5 MIDKOTA (6PM)

#2 DISTRICT 5 CARRINGTON VS. # 3 DISTRICT 6 SOUTH BORDER (7:30)

All games will be broadcast on TED FM 98.3/102.7 and newsdakota.com about 15 minutes before the scheduled start time with the pregame report.  

**Due to a Jimmies game at 6pm, the Tourney on Saturday will start early, with the seventh place game starting at 10:30a, consolation game at noon, third place at 130p and championship at 3pm.
