N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – A winter storm helped bring in more snow and colder temperatures for 2017.
The Bismarck National Weather Service reports that the central part of the state was hit the most with some areas receiving up to 14 inches of snow. Meteorologist Michael Mathews.

Eastern North Dakota currently remains in a Winter Storm Warning and the rest of the state has been left with a Wind Chill Advisory. Mathews says some of the areas in the advisory are seeing wind chills at around 25 to 40 degrees below zero.

The Windchill Advisory will remain in effect until Noon Wednesday. Temperatures are expected to remain in the single digits until Sunday, when temperatures are expected to reach back into the teen’s and lower 20’s.
