N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The North Dakota Department of Transportation and North Dakota Highway Patrol have issued a Travel Alert for the entire state of North Dakota.

Blowing and drifting snow has created reduced visibility in a majority of the state. Cities include Minot, Williston, Bismarck, Jamestown, Valley City, Fargo and Grand Forks.

“Conditions are such that motorists can travel, but should be advised of rapidly changing conditions. Motorists are encouraged to reduce speeds and drive according to the conditions,” the NDDOT says in a release.

With a no travel advisory, roads could be closed or blocked if conditions deteriorate.
