N.D. (NewsDakota.com) An early morning rollover seriously injured four people on Barnes County 38 about a mile and a half east of Litchville around 1:40am Friday, December 30th.
Barnes County Sheriff, Randy McClaflin said a vehicle lost control on an ice covered road, entered the south ditch and rolled several times ejecting all 4 of the occupants.
He said all four were transported to Mercy Hospital. A passenger was air lifted from Mercy Hospital to a Fargo hospital and another one was transferred by ambulance to a Fargo hospital. Two people injured in the rollover are still being treated at Mercy Hospital.
McClaflin said charges are pending against the driver. The accident remains under investigation by the Barnes County Sheriff’s Office.
A number of agencies responded to the rollover including the Litchville First Responders, Kathryn First Responders, Kathryn Fire Department and Barnes County Ambulance.
