N.D. (NewsDakota.com) – The University of Jamestown is continuing fundraising efforts to finishing paying for projects such as the Newman Arena.

The campaign, called Opening Doors Transforming Lives, began in July 2014 with the goal of raising $60 million. The campaign includes funding for several new Masters programs, a Doctor of Physical Therapy Program and sustaining the future endowment of the University.

Director of Development Karen Crane stated that they expect the campaign to take around 5 to 6 years to complete.

One of the biggest projects remaining to pay for is the Harold Newman Arena, with roughly $2.5 to $3 million dollars left to raise.

Crane says they have numerous naming opportunities for donations to their campaign on the campus. You can learn more by contacting Karen Crane or Polly Peterson at the University of Jamestown.
