(NewsDakota.com) The Lisbon High School boys basketball team has started the 2016-17 season with a 2-0 record, and a 1-0 start in Class B Region I play, after defeating Sargent Central 77-67 Monday night.

Just like in Friday’s win against Oakes, Marshall Bartholmay lead the Broncos in scoring, this time with 23 points. Kyle Odegard and Wyatt Runck each contributed 16 for Lisbon, who were up by eight at halftime before the Cadets came back in the third quarter to tie the game going to the fourth.

Sargent Central (0-1) had Drew Wittich lead the team in scoring with 31 points. Logan Wyum and Matt Colemer each contributed 11.

Both teams next face LaMoure-Litchville/Marion. Lisbon hosts the Loboes Thursday, while the Cadets visit LaMoure Saturday.
